When reminiscing about our lives and experiences we often find ourselves using the phrase ‘if these walls could talk…’, turning to our homes to shed light on the many significant moments that the walls themselves have witnessed. The images I have created are meant to embody these moments, as memories held onto by a house, long after its existence as a home.
I believe that memories remain in a home, ceaselessly claiming it as their own. Upon conception, memories are carved into the very essence and foundation of a home, forever lingering, living on as the wallpaper peels.
As a creative photographer I make every effort to fulfill my artistic vision, and in doing so I experience the most satisfaction upon the successful execution of a project. When I can look at an image and forget about the hours it took to create, I know I can exhale and feel proud of my work.
