Ariana Grande’s Viva Glam colours are incorporated into the the collection. When you purchase the Ariana colours , all the proceeds go to helping people living with HIV. MUA Wendy said that the collection is one of her favourites because it isn’t too “holiday esc”, which creates a longer shelf life and makes for a timeless product.
The collection is a limited edition and the products range from about $25 to $50 for kits, shadows, highlighters and lipsticks.
MAC cosmetics is getting sweet for the holiday season. This year MAC’s holiday collection is embodying the christmas ballet The Nutcracker. Nutcracker Sweet is the biggest holiday collection yet that includes over 40 different products. The collection has a warm and playful feel, featuring many pinks, champagne, reds, and purple shades. The sugar plum vibes are strong with this one and Pickering MAC Manager, Lindsay says that this is the most diverse collection yet.
Lindsay said that there is something for everyone in this collection. The colour palettes deliver a variety of colours that are dark and sultry for the holidays yet also bright and fun for a fairytale glow.
``The shades are very wearable for everybody, they are neutral with pops of colour.``
Jaymie Flis is a dedicated MAC user and says that Nutcracker Sweet is the most versatile collection yet. Flis took the plunge in trying on the holiday colour, Leap of Delight.”I am not used to wearing such a bold colour but surprisingly I really liked this one.”
Flis would recommend the brand to all skin tones and make up preferences because it looks great on so many people. The lipstick is the same well known formula and the colour payoff is great. It is a collection that you can not only wear during the holidays but all year round. Flis says she is looking forward to rocking this bold purple throughout the entire winter season.
