Distracted driving is a big enough problem that Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation is pushing for changes within its legislation, according to Kathryn McGarry, MPP of Cambridge and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transportation. She also explains her past experience with distracted driving and the potential fallout on victims and their friends and family. Humber College counsellor Liz Sokol gives her suggestions on dealing with the emotional fallout if you or a loved one is affected by distracted driving.
